On February 13th to 18th, 2026, I had the honor of presenting my solo exhibition, A Day in the Life: Walking with Tomorrow, at Institut Français du Rwanda-CCFR in Kigali, Rwanda. The exhibition featured a body of work that continued my exploration of the resilience, dignity, and everyday stories of Rwanda’s hardworking men and women, including mothers, street vendors, laborers, and cyclists whose lives continue to inspire my practice.
Walking with Tomorrow speaks to hope, endurance, and the courage to keep moving forward despite life’s daily challenges. Through these paintings, I wanted to honor the quiet strength of ordinary people and the dreams they carry with them each day as they walk toward a better tomorrow.
This exhibition was a deeply personal and meaningful moment in my journey as an artist. It gave me the opportunity to share these stories with my community in Kigali and to create a space for reflection, connection, and dialogue through art. Featuring a live painting performance during the exhibition made the experience even more special, allowing visitors to witness the storytelling process in real time. It is a moment I will always hold close to my heart.
