About This Artwork
This artwork was created using my usual technique, a smooth, solid background color with a detailed miniature figure placed on one side of the canvas, complete with soft shadows for depth. I used a dark green background to represent the hard times Rukundo Jean de Amour faces in his daily work. Despite the challenges, he remains unstoppable. His strength and determination to provide for his family inspired me to capture his story through this painting.
Story Behind
I met Rukundo Jean de Amour in Kinigi, Musanze, pushing a bicycle loaded with goods in the rain. His determination to keep working despite the hard weather moved me deeply, inspiring this artwork that honors his unstoppable spirit.
